Comment by Sakura on 11/13/2013 at 1:47 pm“Shape” is 形 (katachi) and “favorite” is お気に入りの (okiniiri no) or 一番好きな (ichiban sukina) so you can say 私の一番好きな形は___です。(watashi no ichiban sukika katachi wa _____ desu.) – My favorite shape is _____. (◕ω<)b☆

Comment by Sakura on 11/14/2013 at 9:04 amIf you look in the dictionary, it lists the definition of 四角 (shikaku) as “square.” However, it can also be used for rectangles. 正方形 (seihoukei) also means “square” but does not have any other meanings. However, when saying “square” 四角 (shikaku) can be heard more often. It is a more general and colloquial term than 正方形 (seihoukei). (◕ω◕)☆
