★ Do you know how to say languages in Japanese? Instead of adding 人 (jin) add 語 (go) to the end of the country name!
★ For example, Japanese language is 日本語 (nihongo).
★ English is a little different. It is not イギリス語 (igirisugo), but 英語 (eigo). This is because the old Japanese name for England is 英国 (eikoku).
★ Also, in Japanese, just like in English, there are some countries that speak languages that are not native to their country. For example, in Brazil, they speak ポルトガル語 (porutogarugo – Portuguese) not ブラジル語 (burajirugo – Brazilian).
