Japanese Vocabulary: Driving in Japan Part 2 – Review Notes
Today, we learned some more Japanese Driving Vocabulary! Review what we learned, and see additional related vocabulary below!

★ Today we will learn some Japanese vocabulary that is useful for driving in Japan.
★ Traffic signal in Japanese is 信号 (shingou)
★ Running a red light/stop sign in Japanese is called 信号無視 (shingou mushi).
★ 無視する (mushi suru) means to ignore
★ Intersection/Crossing in Japanese is 交差点 (kousaten)
★ Stop in Japanese is 止まれ (tomare)
★ The verb 止まる (tomaru) means to stop.
★ A complete stop in Japanese is 一時停止 (ichiji teishi)
★ Be careful to make a complete stop at designated areas!
★ Seatbelt in Japanese is シートベルト (shiito beruto)
★ Tire(s) in Japanese is タイヤ (taiya)
★ Flat tire (puncture) in Japanese is パンク (panku)
★ License plate/number plate in Japanese is ナンバープレート (nanbaa pureeto)
★ Rent-a-Car/Rental Car in Japanese is レンタカー (rentakaa)
★ Patrol Car in Japanese is パトカー (patokaa)
